This is a synthetic peptide designed for use in combination with anti-SMARCB1 antibody (Catalogue #: ARP34172_P050) made by Aviva Systems Biology. It may block above mentioned antibody from binding to its target protein in western blot and/or immunohistochecmistry under proper experimental settings. There is no guarantee for its use in other applications. Please inquire for more details.
Presku: AAPP05434
Size: 100 ug
Weight: 43kDa
Gene: 6598
Format: Lyophilized powder
Target: The protein encoded by SMARCB1 is part of a complex that relieves repressive chromatin structures, allowing the transcriptional machinery to access its targets more effectively. The encoded nuclear protein may also bind to and enhance the DNA joining activity of HIV-1 integrase. SMARCB1 has been found to be a tumor suppressor, and mutations in it have been associated with malignant rhabdoid tumors. The protein encoded by this gene is part of a complex that relieves repressive chromatin structures, allowing the transcriptional machinery to access its targets more effectively. Two transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for this gene.
