Specific for independent constantly expressed epitope of kappa chain. Reacts with free monomer and dimer of kappa light chains but not with intact kappa bearing immunoglobulins. Specific antibody titer: 1/200 000 (indirect ELISA). Can be used for detection of kappa Bence-Jones proteins in ELISA (for coating and as conjugate) and for immunoaffinity purification of light chains and in WB.
