This is a synthetic peptide designed for use in combination with anti-INTU Antibody (ARP67141_P050), made by Aviva Systems Biology. It may block above mentioned antibody from binding to its target protein in western blot and/or immunohistochecmistry under proper experimental settings. There is no guarantee for its use in other applications. Please inquire for more details.

Target: INTU plays a key role in ciliogenesis and embryonic development. INTU is a regulator of cilia formation by controlling the organization of the apical actin cytoskeleton and the positioning of the basal bodies at the apical cell surface, which in turn is essential for the normal orientation of elongating ciliary microtubules. It plays a key role in definition of cell polarity via its role in ciliogenesis but not via conversion extension and has an indirect effect on hedgehog signaling.
