This is a synthetic peptide designed for use in combination with anti-MYCT1 Antibody (ARP66407_P050), made by Aviva Systems Biology. It may block above mentioned antibody from binding to its target protein in western blot and/or immunohistochecmistry under proper experimental settings. There is no guarantee for its use in other applications. Please inquire for more details.
Reactivities: Human
Presku: AAP66407
Size: 100ug
Weight: 26kDa
Gene: 80177
Format: Lyophilized powder
Target: MYCT1 may regulate certain MYC target genes, MYC seems to be a direct upstream transcriptional activator. MYCT1 does not seem to significantly affect growth cell capacity. Overexpression seems to mediate many of the known phenotypic features associated with MYC, including promotion of apoptosis, alteration of morphology, enhancement of anchorage-independent growth, tumorigenic conversion, promotion of genomic instability, and inhibition of hematopoietic differentiation.
